Michael Griffin
Michael Griffin serves as Wesley Enhanced Living’s (WEL) Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance. With close to a decade of financial leadership experience for Pennswood Village in Bucks County, Griffin is a high caliber financial professional who possesses unique strengths and a diverse background to support Wesley Enhanced Living’s mission.
As Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance for WEL, Griffin is responsible for creating and implementing disciplined, effective processes in accounting and billing across all levels of the organization. He engages the board finance, audit and investment committees around issues, trends and changes in the operating models and operational delivery. Griffin oversees long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with WEL’s strategic plan.
Griffin has over 30 years of professional experience ranging from a combat medic in the Army to his current position at Wesley Enhanced Living. Over the years, Griffin has also served as an adjunct professor at Holy Family University and Gwynedd Mercy University where he helped develop two courses geared toward health care finance for non-financial managers.
He received his MBA from Holy Family University, and is a Certified Public Accountant, Nursing Home Administrator, Personal Care Administrator, and a Certified Professional in Aging Services Risk Management. He is also a fellow of the LeadingAge National Leadership Program and the LeadingAge Educator Program.
