Blessed are You gracious giver of knowledge.” Our human ability to bring this vaccine into existence is part of the blessings conveyed to us by virtue of being created in the Divine Image. The vaccine is a blessing.

We may not be able to eradicate it, but if enough people throughout the world get vaccinated, it will stop spreading and killing people. This is what our forebears did in the last century to eliminate the threat of polio. She remembers taking the polio vaccine as a school child and now she understand how important that act was.
