John Odike
John Odike joins Wesley Enhanced Living with 21 years of comprehensive experience developing human resources functions. He has cultivated positive work environments across numerous industries, including energy, healthcare, HR consulting, and publishing. With his expertise, he brings extensive knowledge in investigative oversight, compensation structuring, succession planning, and recruitment strategies.
As Wesley Enhanced Living’s Vice President of Human Potential, John is responsible for enacting enduring culture change within the organization, demonstrating the value proposition of WEL across all levels of workforce, and developing the teams to reach their highest potential. He leads all HR functions, talent acquisition/retention, staff development, diversity, compensation programs, benefits, wellness, HRIS, and HR policies and procedures.
Odike previously served as the Director of Human Resources for a comprehensive human services nonprofit, Resources for Human Development. For over 5,000 employees, he implemented policies, procedures, and designed peer-based employee engagement strategies to improve morale. In his former roles as director and vice president of human resources, he supported thousands of employees globally, oversaw multimillion dollar acquisitions, and spearheaded HR strategies.
