Wesley Enhanced Living Main Line was very nice. It was in a neighborhood. So, it wasn’t isolated or in a bunch of business complexes. They had a pool, a nice gym, a lot of classes, an art studio with pottery and a kiln, and a big library. I had lunch there. It was in the bistro and I could pick what I wanted. I had a sandwich and it was very good. The outside areas were also beautiful. It was very nicely kept and maintained.

Wow! What a warm and welcoming experience we had at Wesley Enhanced Living in Upper Moreland!! Jackie (sales) was so very caring and supportive with assisting in the transition of our aunt from a house to a new “home” in a very, very short period of time. Her compassion, knowledge, and guidance helped make the move a breeze. During our initial visit, we were all encouraged and impressed with the staff’s interaction with the residents as we observed the staff address them by name as well as engage in resident-specific conversations. The staff’s ability to network with residents came to light again as they both continue to work together and coordinate meeting for meals and events to help our shy newcomer “break the ice” and meet the community. Wesley has so much to offer with a wide variety of monthly activities both on and off site, a Pub/Bistro, cozy fireplace/sitting areas, library, movie theater, chapel, exercise room, covered porch, sun room, and the beautiful, bright, spacious apartments that are nicely equipped with appliances and more. Our family feels very fortunate that we were able to have our aunt become a part of the Wesley community where she can still maintain her independence, be socially active, and not be alone. The facility is attractive from the outside- it has seasonal flowers and plants with several areas for people to sit or walk outside. It is clean- the staff are helpful if I have questions when I visit. My mother likes it there and says that the food is good.

After two visits and the excellent service we received from Sharon Margulies, we were so impressed with what we saw and most importantly with the people that we submitted our application to today and look forward to signing a contract in December. Our family can’t say enough good things about Wesley Enhanced Living. My mom and Dad needing to move, we went everywhere in a 10 mile radius so that we could be close to them. Most of the places were either over priced or just plain horrible. We called Jackie at Wesley and she met with us the next day! It is a beautiful space with lots of light and the staff and residents are so friendly! To top the excellent experience my parents moved in in March 2020, yes during COVID, Wesley was so careful and well prepared. My parents of course had to be quarantined, but they never felt like it, the staff took care of everything from bringing them their delicious meals everyday to even taking out their trash. My parents have now been at Wesley Willow Grove/Hatboro for 6 months now, the community is still COVID free and my parents have never looked better. They are so happy and finally relaxed. Their long time neighbor from the house even moved into Wesley as well and is loving it. Thank you Wesley for all you do!

My parents, Joan and Bill, moved into Wesley Enhanced Living-independent living, in March of 2021 and they LOVE it!! This is an OUTSTANDING community for your senior loved ones!! The staff and residents are super friendly and very supportive! I can honestly say they are thriving like never before in their lives!! They have many new friends. They are on the Bocce Team. They attend entertainment nights. They have lunch, brunch and dinner with friends. They are truly enjoying life every day!! They smile and tell us stories every day about their Wesley World!! Their apartment is beautiful! The food is great! The facility is completely updated and looks gorgeous! They are safe as Wesley has made this a very high priority in this challenging time. I toured this facility and found it to be a top notch caring place. The apartments were very efficient and space conscious. Washer and dryer in each apartment with the capability of using a laundry room at no charge I might add. The hallways and group areas were very clean and updated on a regular basis. I also found it to be more affordable than other CCRC facilities. The activity calendar was full of events for all levels of interest. I think the location is quite good. Near shopping and grocery stores, pharmacies, etc. The staff seems to know all the residents by name. I was very impressed with the whole organization.

I toured Wesley Enhanced Living Main Line about a year and a half ago. They’ve recently done a lot of renovations and refurbishing up there. I liked the fact that it was so close to all of my doctors and a couple of hospitals and shopping facilities. They had little shuttle buses that took you to various shopping centers and grocery stores. I just liked the layout of the area, the overall activities, the apartments that they had, and the floor plans. I was introduced to several staff. I felt as though they cared about you as a person. I was just impressed with the place. We had lunch there and it was excellent food. I’m a vegetarian so I can’t talk too much about meat, fish, chicken, or whatever, but I told them of my dietary preferences and they accommodated me completely. It’s absolutely beautiful. They just finished renovations and it is gorgeous. I have a family member in Wesley and I was just up there last Sunday, so I’m pretty familiar with the place now. The upkeep is beautiful. The grounds and the inside are just lovely.

My sister in law found this place for my father in law. From the first experience everything was great. Yesterday we checked him in and all went as planned. So far he really likes the place. Mom chose Wesley Main Line due to location, amenities and the indoor pool. The community recently upgraded their common areas and the result is much more inviting spaces. During the pandemic, Wesley sent frequent email updates on COVID-19 testing, cases and safety practices. They coordinated the vaccination process for all residents. Residents received wellness checks, meals and room maintenance when we were not allowed to visit. Wesley helps mom have a healthy and active lifestyle.

I have had a loved one living independently at Wesley Enhanced Living Main Line, formerly Martins Run, for over 10 years and her experience there is that it is simply home, where she fits in and belongs. She has found the staff responsive and caring as have I. Courses in writing and drawing, as well as movies, lectures, and live entertainment, are part of programming as are gardening, a book club, and the opportunity to participate in governance. The outside campus, beautifully maintained, offers areas where people may walk and sit or engage in planting. There are expansive open areas and those with shade. Four eating facilities vary the offerings according to what residents want to eat. Skilled nursing care is available and there is a memory unit and a hospital unit. When one member of a couple needs additional care and housing, there is the opportunity for the other family member to spend time as needed with his or her loved one. What impresses me most is that staff really care about residents and are courteous, warm, flexible and kind without exception. Of importance is that the population comes from different cultural backgrounds and brings diverse life and educational experiences, so people learn from each other and take joy in learning about each other’s life-related customs. What I see whenever I visit is the friendliness and kindness of the residents toward one another and feelings of good will between residents and staff. What I also see is an interest in learning and being able to move outside one’s usual comfort zone. Wesley is just beginning to emerge from the worst health epidemic in the United States since the 1918 influenza. The track record for saving people from getting Covid-19 has been dramatic as has been the markedly tiny death rate. Those in independent living are being vaccinated now in February 2021. It also has just had a major reconstruction intended to provide more public spaces with additional light streaming in the central part of the facility, all for the better! I am impressed with what the director, Mike DeStefon and staff are doing to make Wesley Main Line a model community. It truly is a wonderful, welcoming place and I encourage those looking into residential living to seriously consider Wesley Enhanced Living Main Line. Thankfully, Wesley is here. And Bravo!

This facility has had a direct hand in literally saving the life of my 89 year old mother Mildred! She suffered an unexpected and catastrophic decline in quality of life as a result of the Covid quarantine last spring. One minute she was living independently, and after two falls in her home she was fighting to live. My brother and I faced a life altering decision to admit her to a nursing home for permanent residency. We were truly blessed with our decision to choose Stapeley! This staff, in particular, Assistant Director of Nursing Regina A.Johnson, Social Worker Larry Conway, and Direct Care CNA Trina Jones have earned my family’s profound respect and admiration for their professionalism and compassion in helping mom to regain joy in her life experience at this fine facility. So far so good! We do a weekly zoom call with our loved one and the staff members that help her set that up is wonderful. We also have noticed that when our loved one falls whether it is minor or major they call us right away every single time. They also send out weekly emails to the families regarding all updates with COVID whether that covers outbreaks in the community, if it was a resident or staff members. They also are keeping us informed with the first round of vaccine schedules.

Its been about a month since we moved my mother into the Stapeley facility of Wesley Enhanced Living and my siblings and I are very pleased. Mom’s declining memory and other cognitive skills required a transition to a facility with expertise in memory care issues. The move from personal care at another Wesley residence to the Bridges unit at Stapeley was seamless. Patrick and his team helped my mom stay calm and eased her anxiety about moving to a new home. My mom has been much more active and is benefitting from a more structured daily routine. She even loves the food! Mom’s journey continues in a safe and caring environment.

My wife and I are interested in a continuing care retirement community with independent cottages as our initial entrance into the community. We were pleasantly surprised at the offering at the Wesley Enhanced Community in Upper Moreland. Our introduction into the Wesley community was handled by Jackie Eldred, Sales Manager for the facility. We had a wonderful tour of the cottage area including a detailed walk through of one of the 38 cottages. We discussed potential options and upgrades to the cottage upon moving in and also were given a listing of resident activities to take with us and review at our leisure. While at the main facility housing over 140 apartments and personal care units, we were also shown the main community areas where we saw residents first hand; fully engaged in activities and enjoying the day! Newly renovated areas such as the bistro, dining rooms, and main community areas left little doubt that the facility is well maintained and provides a pleasant environment for the residents to enjoy. A strong take-away from our point of view is that the Wesley Team want to “partner” with the family to provide the right service to residents as they age in their retirement. I must admit that I had driven past this community in the past without really knowing what was behind the trees and now I know that there is a warm and welcoming community dedicated to the continuing needs of their residents at Wesley Enhanced Living, Upper Moreland!

It Takes a Village to Care for the Seniors. It is a nice place. They treat my loved ones nicely. They have transportation for the residents to get to appointments. The food is good and because they are gaining weight. We asked if they wanted us to bring them food, and they said no we have enough food from the community. The staff is very friendly. The community provides laundry service and medication distribution, they even come in and assist with bathing, if needed.

We recently put dad in long term care at Wesley PennyPack Park after much debate with the Pandemic .. After seeing no cases we made the move. It’s only been three weeks but we must say they have been more than accommodating and patient with dad . He said everyone is friendly and nice to him. We get updates from the doctor, nurse and social worker. It’s been an adjustment for him but they go out of their way to make him happy. We feel he is being taken care of very well and look forward to when we can sit with him in the beautiful courtyard. I would definitely recommend Wesley to anyone. WEL- Doylestown has been outstanding in the care of its residents during the pandemic. She told us both her parents were living there at some point. That just spoke volumes to us as a family looking for the best assisted living facility. The staff are always so kind and super helpful. My sister is actually doing activities she has never done before such as gardening, making jewelry and sun catchers. My sister really enjoys all the activities they plan for their residents. We just wanted to take the time to define our experience with Wesley Pennypack Park. Our Mom is 96 and we finally, after 5 years from the passing of Dad, talked her into moving from her Philadelphia home of 73 Years. We took her to two tours of Wesley and she liked both visits. Mom is extremely independent and loved the apartment with the washer/dryer on the same floor in the kitchen !!. She decided to make this change February, 2020. The family was delighted as she would have a safe environment with lots of new friends to share stories and meals with. She was so excited and was ready to move. Mom moved into her independent apartment March 4th, 2020. We got Mom partially settled in when the COVID 19 came to the USA. Shortly after, quarantines were put in place and Mom was on her own, or so we thought. Wesley’s staff and personnel have gone above and beyond to keep all residents safe and happy and that no one gets forgotten and most of all keeping healthy. Supplied with games and books to color, added additions to the menus, they have kept her spiritually in touch. Wesley Management has also been keeping the family updated constantly with what is happening. We can put our head on the pillow at night knowing Mom is safe. We talk with Mom daily. She lets us know that she gets a note with each meal updating what’s happening in the community and how to follow the protocol to stay safe. Mom is really teaching us a lesson or two how we can make it through this unsettling time. She reminds us of the World Wars and the Depression. We are hoping that Mom will be able to really enjoy the pleasures that Wesley has to offer outside her apartment walls. Wesley is truly, in our opinion, a wonderful and compassionate facility as this pandemic is new to them as well. They have touched our lives and our Mom’s. We look forward to seeing her and personally thank each and every one at Wesley.

I have only visited this facility as a possible residence for an elderly parent. The main floor is currently undergoing a major renovation project, so there is disarray and noise, but it will be lovely when complete. Sharon Margulies gave us a very thorough tour and, having worked there for many years, answered all questions knowledgeably and professionally. Apartments are comfortable and the options of more advanced care on-site is advantageous. Many acquaintances have placed loved ones at Wesley Enhanced Living and it merits consideration.

My mother spent the last 4 years of her life at Stapeley. During that time, the nursing staff there cared for my mother with love and affection. Every time I would visit, I knew where to find my mother – she would be with the nurses and if she wasn’t, they knew where she was. Stapeley might not have some of the amenities that the more expensive centers have, but I will always be grateful to the staff there for making it a home for my mother.

Wesley Enhanced Living Doylestown is a fantastic experience. My in-laws are very happy there. The people are very nice, professional, and were able to work with us very quickly. I have nothing but good things to say about the place. The head of nursing gave us a very nice tour on a Sunday, whereas at other places they wouldn’t even talk to us until Monday, and we needed to move very quickly. One of the residents said that it’s like living on a cruise ship but on land, which is a really nice compliment. I like the atmosphere and that it doesn’t smell or stink. The apartments and studios are laid out really well. My in-laws love the food.

I placed my best friend of fifty years, Steve, into Stapeley a little over a year ago. The last year of his life. I couldn’t possibly say enough kind words of gratitude to the entire staff for their loving and professional care all year. Steve was very happy there. He had a beautiful assisted care apartment in which he was very happy. At any time I felt a need to contact the staff about anything, which was very seldom, it was immediately taken care of. To Ken, Jamie, Kathy, Jarrod, Jeanette and Mary his nurse when he was in hospice, and all the staff at Stapeley, I will always have a warm spot in my heart for you all for the way you made my friend’s last year a happy one. I would like to thank Jennifer Anderson for all of her assistance both prior to and following my father’s move from his apartment to Wesley. It was a difficult decision for my father to finally move out of his apartment and into Personal Care. Leading up to the move, we met several times with Jennifer. She was at all times gracious with her time, informative, and helpful. My father moved into Wesley in February 2019. Since then, we have all been very pleased with the quality of the staff and facility. My father has been enjoying Wesley’s recreational activities and also his company and companionship with Wesley’s other residents

My parents moved into Wesley Enhanced Living Pennypack in July 2017. My first contact at Wesley was Jennifer Anderson. She first met my brother and I. She was very friendly and welcoming, answering all of our questions and giving us a tour. She made what was a life altering decision a very smooth and seamless process. When it was time to bring my parents over, Jennifer met with our entire family and gave my parents a tour and again answered any and all questions from our family. And after giving my family a tour of the entire facility, she invited us all to have dinner in the dining room. After the decision was made that my parents were joining the Wesley community, Jennifer made sure everything went smooth with their move. Their new apartment was beautiful, freshly painted and newly carpeted. On moving day, when all of the work was done, we went down to the dining room for dinner. There were many people who came up to my parents and welcomed them to their new home. Everyone was overly friendly and welcoming, and they just loved that. And it made me comforted in knowing we made the right decision. My mom was more excited about the move than my dad, but he has sure come around. After being there now for six months, he is now on the resident council. When I now join them for dinner, I see how happy they are and how many friends they have made in their short time there.

We chose Wesley Enhanced Living Burholme for my relative. They’re excellent. It’s a smaller community of about 60 residents. The staff is very interactive, and they all understand each other’s jobs. So there’s always someone to do whatever services need. They’re very aware of everyone who is living there and their needs. We have had an excellent experience with them as far as being able to furnish an apartment for our relative while he acquires his own furniture. He has gotten good medical attention so that his diabetes has stabilized, and his health has improved. A very good plus for him is that he’s kind of a man’s man, and about 60 percent of their residents are men. They have good food and it helped his health. It’s affordable for us. We moved him from their largest studio to a small room he can afford. It’s not cramped compared to other places we’ve visited. It’s called a small room but it’s not really small. He has plenty of room for everything he needs in there and has a deck. A housekeeper comes in. My relative is a bachelor so he’s a slob, but they’ve managed to make it look comfortable and clean. There’s a lot of activities, I think it’s a quiet place because there’s not a lot of independent living there so it’s not as lively as other places. But they’re very nice people who don’t appear to have advanced dementia or things like that. They have a bus and go on outings and a little bank there that he could put his own money into. We’ve gotten support along the way. I have nothing negative to say about this place. It’s pretty, doesn’t look institutional, is very homey, spacious, and full of light. The food looks very fresh and nutritious.

WEL at Burholme is a warm, welcoming and attractive nursing home. Jennifer Anderson took excellent care of our family as we moved a loved one into assisted living. She’s especially helpful when it comes to explaining how an average family can afford this kind of care. Our loved one’s health has improved dramatically and he’s making new friends in this lovely facility. Another bonus is that public transportation is only a few steps away, and there are frequent excursions in the Burholme bus. The rooms are big and bright. The food is beautifully prepared and healthful. Burholme doesn’t feel like an institution. It feels like home.

My parents have lived at Wesley since the beginning of December we already see positive changes. In just a few weeks they have had meals other residents and are getting a nice social life started. It has also has improved our lives because we don’t have to be concerned 24 hours a day that our parents are okay. The staff has been extremely warm and accommodating. Pete and Lori have made a difficult transition very easy. On a side note the food in the bistro is great and priced very well.

I recently helped a close friend move into Stapeley’s assisted living wing. Everyone at Stapeley was extremely pleasant and accommodating in making this process as smooth as possible. They responded to every email and phone call and always did their best to address every issue along the way: from early visits to scout the place, to answering our myriad questions and providing advice, to making all the arrangements to prepare his room, and finally giving him a warm welcome when he finally moved in. And in the weeks since, the professionalism and competence of the staff has been tremendous. Not to mention the facility is kept clean and is well-maintained, with lots of activities and good food in the dining rooms. My friend is quickly adjusting to his new and supportive surroundings. Stapeley has lived up to its reputation for quality and value.

Wesley Enhanced Living at Burholme has been a great experience for my Nan. The staff is kind and hard working. The staff is very helpful. Anytime that we have asked a question, they have been quick to get us an answer. They made my Nan feel right at home. She loves joining in on all the activities they plan. She loves playing pokeno and bingo. My family and I can relax now and not worry about her like we did when she lived home alone. Her room is very nice and she could hang pictures that she had at her house which has made her feel like it is her home. The grounds are very well maintained. The facility is very clean. There are areas on each floor where families can go and spend time with their loves ones. The food is pretty good and residents can always ask for something if it isn’t on the menu.
